Mumbai pacer Jasprit Bumrah wins Polly Umrigal Award for the 2021-22 season while young opener Shubman Gill is named International Cricketer of the Year (Men) for the 2022-23 season. Ta.
Deepti Sharma and Smriti Mandhana shared four categories for the Best International Cricketer of the Year (Women) award. While Deepti won the award in 2019-20 and 2022-23, Smriti was recognized for her achievements with the Indian women’s cricket team in 2020-21 and 2021-22.
Meanwhile, young batting sensation Yashaswi Jaiswal has won the latest edition (2022-23) of the Best International Debut Award (Men). The Asian Games gold medalists followed Mayank Agarwal, Axar Patel, and Shreyas Iyer.
Former Indian player and coach Ravi Shastri and Farokh Engineer were also awarded the Col. C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award.
